The elevated position takes best advantage of the stunning views out to the Great Dividing Range and around to Flinder’s Peak.
The resort and your accommodation is very private and secluded and surrounded by pockets of flat land, remnant rainforest and temperate forest higher up. The Bunyip Scenic Rim Resort is at 139 Lutter Road, Charlwood approximately 1 hour from Brisbane. From Brisbane CBD head west down Milton Rd, Western Freeway, right on to the Ipswich Motorway, take the Cunningham Highway at Dinmore for about 35 minutes, left into The Boonah-Fassifern Connection Rd, right into Lake Moogerah Rd. After 3ks and a sweeping left hand bend Lutter Rd is on your left. ’139′ means 1390m from the bitumen road and the double cattle gate entrance is on your left. The driveway is about 600m long.
The Bunyip is little more than an hour from Brisbane and is an easy drive after work in time for bubbly and dinner on the Terrace.
The Bunyip is only 20 minutes to Willowbank Raceway for motorsport enthusiasts seeking some luxury and Boonah Airfield is 5 km east. For touring aviators we will pick you up from the airfield and arrange fuel and tiedown and a hire car if required.
