If you would like to try gliding this is Rob’s other passion. His gliders are sleek modern fibreglass aircraft which can climb in the local thermals and fly at speeds of 300kph. Seeing the Scenic Rim from 4000ft is a fantastic experience and you can actually fly the aircraft. Flying a glider is no more difficult than driving a car and perhaps you will catch the gliding bug. The view is amazing and on a good day you can see the city skyline, Stradbroke Island and the top of Mt Warning.
Gliding Courses are also available to teach you to fly these aircraft. The courses are held throughout the year and can be done as a block or as required such as one day a week. Call for more information.
